Asian Wedding Photography, Trinity Park, Ipswich

Friday, May 14th, 2010

As part of the work I’ve been doing for Trinity Park Events near Ipswich, I photographed some of Fatima and Bodrul’s wedding day a few weeks back. This was my first Asian wedding and it was brilliant fun and a real feast on the visual senses. Colour is such a big part of the whole thing I couldn’t bring myself to convert any of the images to black and white.

I learned that although a lot of Asian marriages are arranged, when it comes to the arrangements on the day, everything is spontaneous and unscheduled but with no less energy, drama or emotion.  A real breath of fresh air. Here are some highlights:

Publicity Photography in Ipswich, Suffolk : Trinity Park Events

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

Over the last couple of months I have been shooting pictures at the Trinity Park Suffolk Showground near Ipswich for their new events brochure and website and general pr activities. They included a Hunt Ball, an Asian wedding (which I’ll post about separately as it was fantastic fun to shoot), a conference on Tourism hosted by Steve Cram, some workshops, small meetings and some food photography.  The idea was to get across in visual terms the breadth of events that can be hosted at the venue and the lightness, sense of space and versatility of the building. Here are some highlights:
