In my old job, over ten years ago now, I used to have breakfast meetings in stuffy conference rooms in the centre of London. Now I often start my working day outside in the fresh air and in stunning locations.

This shoot started at 8am in the cafe at Felixstowe Ferry by the sea (quintessentially english as well as nouishment for the soul) where I met up with Jos and her two gorgeous children - Sophia and Cal. Messing about by the sea and with old boats, a spot of crabbing and then some obligatory exploring in the woods. Does a job get much better than this? Some days I have to pinch myself:

I had such a great day on Sunday photographing this lovely family. We started off in my studio getting some classic portraits and then headed out into the glorious sunshine and the wonderful unspoilt countryside on my studio doorstep, then onto one of my favourite locations at the moment - Felixstowe Ferry.

Here are some of my favourites tho it was hard to choose. And I promise you I haven’t hightened the blue of those eyes!
