MY APPROACH AND PROMISE TO YOU

All life converges at a wedding and on a wedding day I am treated to just about all the elements any people photographer could wish for to create a rich visual record in photographs.

At most weddings I will encounter a whole range of characters and ages, beauty and style, and a full spectrum of emotions as an exciting narrative unfolds. It is a privilege to capture this as the day moves from quiet anticipation with flurries of excitement to the drama and ritual of the act of marriage, the celebratory vibe of the reception, with the humour, anecdote, and fun of the wedding speeches, and finally to the letting down of hair as the dancing and party gets underway.

People often ask me why I love photographing weddings and I guess the answer is this: Although they are the ultimate photographic challenge requiring complete dedicated focus, a level of physical fitness, total flexibility and only that one chance to get it right, for me they are the most rewarding because they are emotional and beautiful occasions and emotion and beauty is what I love to observe and capture in my photography. As well as this, I get the chance to employ just about all the technical and artistic skills I have honed as a photographer over the last ten years and a chance to create a beautiful piece of work that I am proud of.

The majority of my clients are referred by previous couples to me and I am fortunate enough to have received some touching feedback from the couples whose weddings I have shot over the past 10 years, some of which you can read about here.

I work from two main bases - London and Suffolk, but cover weddings all over the UK including London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, and Cambridgeshire.
