Old Chelsea Town Hall Wedding

A shower of confetti with the bride and groom barely visible
We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos! You captured our day perfectly — all those gorgeous, candid moments that truly reflect the joy and energy of our London celebration. You were laid back but so professional, making everyone feel completely at ease. The result is a stunning collection of natural, heartfelt images we’ll treasure forever!
— Katrina & Harman

Katrina & Harman chose to be together from the very beginning of their wedding day with family gathering at their newly renovated home in Tooting - a long term project and labour of love full of style and character. It was a really different and special start to the day as they got ready together with their closest family. The first few portraits below were requested as they wanted some to mark this special day in their first home. The mums busied around fetching carrying and ironing (there is always a mother tucked away somewhere ironing at the prep!) and attending to their every need. The aunts made cups of teas and served breakfast, and the fathers and uncles sat quietly and benignly putting the world to rights.

Time sped forward and before we knew it the red route master bus had backed up their road and we were off to Old Chelsea Town Hall for their intimate London wedding ceremony. I’ve been visiting Old Chelsea Town Hall for wedding photography for years now and I’m loving the colour palette they’ve chosen in the fairly recently done up Brandon Room there. Their broad smiles, jokes, tears and laughter and the sheer delight of their guests in witnessing their union, lit up the room.

I always suggest that couples get plenty of confetti for the exit. Katrina and Harman took me at my word resulting in a snow scape of petals on the steps of the Town Hall as ever delighting passers by on the King’s Road with car horns honking and folk winding down their windows to shout their congratulations. It is always a buzz to photograph weddings at this famous London wedding venue.

Everyone piled into the bus again to take us to The Prince Albert on the south side of Albert Bridge and I finished up my coverage with them with an amble through the park for some first relaxed married portraits of these two beautiful souls.
